STORYLINE:
At least two people were hurt on Wednesday as Russian rockets hit a residential area in the eastern Ukrainian town of Pokrovsk.
A number of buildings, including homes and a hangar for metal products, sustained damage as at least three rockets rained down.
Pokrovsk lies in the government-controlled Donetsk region, and forms part of the wider Donbas.
It is located about 130 kilometres (80 miles) to the south of the embattled cities of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk.
Russia has its eyes set on Donbas, the eastern industrial heartland full of coal mines and factories.
The area borders Russia and has been partly controlled by Moscow-backed separatists since 2014.
The battle for control of Donbas has led to mounting casualties and renewed pleas from Ukraine to the West for more weapons.
