In this video we'll be upgrading the RAM of a mid 2011 iMac. This machine has been amazing for the past 10 years but now with 4gigs of RAM and a slow spinning HDD, it makes it very difficult to use it. It supports RAM upto 16GB (acc to Apple) though some youtubers have tried 32GB and that works too. I don't need that much of RAM so 12GB will be just fine. Soon we will be upgrading the HDD to SSD so that this machine can be used as an office computer for another 3-4 years, Stay tuned for upcoming videos!
