Incredible run. World record by almost 3 seconds. The first 2.5 minutes of the run were borderline flawless, and it was my fastest pace ever by a pretty wide margin. It was also best pace ever (by a ton) out of Space, and somehow I managed to keep it together. Very proud of this. This is the first time since 6:11 I can really call the Any% record "good", and it is by far the best speedrun of my life...
...but then again, I did lose 2 seconds in huge rooms. I didn't think such a big timeloss could exist in a 6:02, but the beginning being so insane made it possible. Escape was a little sketch too - lost 0.4 seconds to bad mashing and another 0.35 to an unlucky meteor. And to be frank, I am in the mood to play any% for a little longer.
So I'm not sure yet whether I'm done here. I might end up going for 6:01, or decide to leave it here and move to other categories. I'll let you know once I've decided.
