BANKAI EXPLAINED #Shorts #Bleach #Manga #TYBW #BleachTYBWPart3 #BleachTYBW #Anime #Ichigo #Espada #Ichigo #Quincy Bleach is so good that even the side characters have amazing moments and that’s the case for Ikkaku Madarame, my favorite Saitama cosplayer in the whole series. This guy is one of the most impressive characters in the series to me because Bankai is an amazing technique but we’ve discussed how usually only captain level characters can achieve it, something that Ikkaku laughs at as he managed to awaken his OWN Bankai despite being the third seat of his Division, not even the Lieutenant. Now normally Ikkaku’s Zanpakutou looks like a normal blade with a small compartment for healing ointment, but he’s able to release it into it’s Shikai form where it becomes a 3 part staff that has a blade at the end, and this staff can break into its sections at different lengths, but when they do a chain appears connecting the sections that can become longer depending on the kind of attack he’s using. In his Bankai, Ryumon Hozukimaru, Ikkaku’s Zanpakutou becomes a LARGE weapon, first with a fan tipped blade in one hand, a straighter but still huge sword in the other, and a massive almost guillotine like blade sitting on Ikkaku’s back with chains that lead to the other swords he’s holding. All of these weapons are accented with the red hair that was hanging from the end of his Shikai, and using his special ability, Ikkaku is able to become stronger and stronger for either taking or giving out damage, but he can even charge up this power by spinning his weapon around basically waking it up, as Ikkaku says Hozukimaru is a lazy Zanpakutou. This transformation lets him CLEAVE through enemies, but next let’s explain his captain.
