How To Journal --
To be grateful for the future you'll have to really FEEL it. Visualize a state of being where you're in the place where you've received what you've desired. A small trick you can do is try to 'remember' how it feels (instead of 'visualize'), meaning you'll be seeing in your mind and feeling in your heart that you already have it, and you're just replaying how wonderful it was, reliving how good it felt when you're living and being in that state.
So the words would be the similar, eg: I'm so happy to be here and ....., I'm so joyful in having this...." etc, but you'll have to conjure up the feelings behind it. It's different from effortlessly appreciating things that have already manifested/existed/happened. When appreciating the past and the now, you already have the feelings given to you because they're easily observable.
Appreciating the future takes some visualization muscle work :) But oh it's so delicious when it happens and you can live the future as now.

Grateful for Things Yet To Come
Part 5
The third and more challenging way to state gratitude is for the things of the future. Things that have not yet come, have not yet manifested.
We've been trained to be conditional. We are accustomed to only seeing with our physical eyes, and we are focused mostly on the past, or the now. If the past is lovely, then yes we can be grateful. If now everything is working well, yes we can easily be grateful.
But how can we be grateful for things that we haven’t seen yet? that we haven’t seen proof of yet?
This is where the real work and fun begins.
This is where we have the actual power to shape and create our worlds.
When we are able to be grateful for the future, for things that are yet to come, we are actually creating that very future.
This is why gratitude journaling, visualization, or scripting, or other similar techniques could be effective and powerful, because they propel us to this state of joy and gratefulness.
In that moment when we are flooded with feelings of joy and abundance, we are sending signals to the universe that we are ready to receive them, because in effect, we are IT already.
This is a new exciting skill to acquire: to be able to feel happy, to feel joy, to have control of our emotions and the direction it's going to, regardless of what the outside world is showing us. To be able to conjure, create and feel the feelings of abundance and unlimitedness when we sit down and journal ~ what a wonderful skill to have.
