Kodi Vepudu Recipe / Andhra style chicken roast is a tasty and authentic South Indian restaurant style chicken fry side dish. This Chicken dish is traditionally prepared with a chicken vepudu masala which makes the dish spicy, rich, and delicious.
Chicken/Kodi Vepudu can be made both in gravy(Kodi Kura) or dry form. Kodi/Kozhi Vepudu dry recipe is a tasty and finger-licking dish that tastes great with biryani, ghee rice, white rice, chapati, and similar dishes. The word Kodi means Chicken in English and Kozhi in Tamil.

1 kg Chicken, bone-in pieces
1 Cinnamon Stick, big
1 Star Anise
4 Cardamom
3 Cloves
2 Javitri
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
9 Dry Red Chili
¼ cup Coriander Seeds
¼ cup Onion Paste
2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Salt
2 tsp Lemon Juice
¼ cup Oil
1 sprig, Curry Leaves
¼ cup Cashew Nut Powder
