"I was adopted at the age of one. In terms of treatment, I think my parents fared as well as any parent to a child. They never once made me feel like I was different from anybody else.
I’ve had one too many breakdowns of hyperventilation because I was just overthinking about how unworthy I was in this family and how I do not deserve everything that I have. I really am amazed at how unconditional someone’s love can be for a stranger."
