Après s'être démarqué à l'écran et sobre depuis une douzaine d'années, Mario Saint-Amand est aujourd'hui étudiant à l'Université Laval et assistant-chercheur au Centre de réadaptation en dépendance de Québec.

Cet homme bienveillant se souvient d'un conseil de Janette Bertrand en 1992: "Dans ce métier, essaie d'être utile". Depuis ce jour, il a toujours vu son métier sous cet angle!

Mario Saint-Amand has been an actor in theater, cinema and television series for more than 30 years.

Passionate, he tells us about his past experience of drugs and other substances and explains how we can cure this addiction.

After having stood out on the screen and sober for a dozen years, Mario Saint-Amand is now a student at Laval University and research assistant at the Center for rehabilitation in addiction of Quebec.

This benevolent man remembers a piece of advice from Janette Bertrand in 1992: "In this profession, try to be useful". Since that day, he has always seen his job from that angle!
