The Marmorera reservoir between Savognin and Bivio is a convenient place to stop and have a swim or sunbathe on the way to the Julier Pass.
We start from the dam for a short hike high above the lake. The path leads through forests, past lonely alpine huts and rushing streams with a constant view of the mountain panorama of the Oberhalbstein region.
