A fascinating interaction that is easy to miss, as all of these colonies are seemingly destroyed due to the endgame events, making it so the only way to interact with the colonies is by going deep into enemy territory before the ending.
There was an interesting line I couldn't include in this upload due to the circumstances you need to trigger it but I'll include here:

Scryve ships don't seem that happy about us learning.

They're not? So typical.
The Scryve selected for service in the Naval Limb of the Empire are a dreary sort. Brave and competent, of course, exemplars of our kind.
But they're rather set in their ways. A lifetime dealing with savages has made them hard, I suppose.
