I bought my Weber Summit Kamado BBQ a year ago and thought I'd share my thoughts, positive and negative. Also, why I chose this over ceramic kamado's like Big Green Egg and Kamado Joe options.
Low and slow cooks on this grill is where is really shines but it does just about everything else, so well!!
It was brought in to replace my Weber Smokey Mountain smoker, along with my master touch kettle BBQ (although, the kettle ended up staying).
The ability to use both briquettes and lump wood charcoal is great, having the option to adjust the height of the lower grill is useful too, it's just a shame there aren't many specific (if any) accessories to this grill.
If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to share them, along with any other options you feel would be a better option as I "might" add to the collection in the future.
