**About Me**
Sara Marks an indie author with books in three genres: romance, fantasy, and horror. She started writing books in 2004 as part of NaNoWriMo. In 2017 she published her first romance book, Modern Persuasion, modernizing Jane Austen's classics as closed door rom coms. In 2020 she broke off her fantasy and horror books into a second pen name.
For many years this was a hobby, but as her collection of books grew, so did her need to make sure she earned enough money to pay for publishing the next one. She struggled to find content that was transparent about what to expect in the modern publishing industry. She decided to be for others, what she couldn't find for herself. On this channel she shares how she keeps organized, her income, how she sets goals, and the progress she makes toward them.
