MyAngelCaf'e is happy to bring you video from the Rafael Construction, Inc. Ground-Breaking Ceremony on January 14, 2026. It was Hosted by City Council Leaders; and , NDVS; who sent an Eloquent Pro-Temp NDVS Employee, delivered an eloquent speech. With NDVS participaing in the Ceremony so many Veterans have waited for, the Event was absolutely unforgettable; and, it was humbling to be at a Second Ground-Breaking Ceremony for the former Nevada State Veterans Memorial Park, which was built years ago, in-front-of the former Grant Sawyer Bldg., at 555 North Washington Street, Las Vegas, NV.
A Myriad of Veterans Events were held at the iconic Veterans Memorial Park. Unfortunately, neither NDVS, distinguished Purple Heart CMDR, Chapter 711 MOPH and his members, or the many leaders instrumental in Kitrell=Jensen, Volunteers, Veterans working so hard to build the Historic Nevada State Veterans Memorial Park, envisioned ever having to Relocate the Iconic Nevada State Veterans Memorial, because the Federal Grant Sawyer Building, where the Park was Built, would be Closed. No one foresaw all the Work, the dedicated hours put in by a myriad of veterans, volunteers, and companies that lent their equipment and volunteered man-hours, would ever be relocated. No one considered the Grant Sawyer Building would be CLOSED DOWN; NECESSITATING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A BEAUTIFUL, BREATHTAKING NV STATE VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK!
The temporary "September 13th Farewell Ceremony by NDVS, to close the park was painful. Veterans cried. Chapter 7ll's distinguished Leader, MOPH 711 Commander, Vincent Palmeri and his members were there. The new distinguished NDVS Director , Col Mary Devine addressed the gathered crowd. She also met with MyAngelCaf'e and chose the place where the Verse, "I Saw His Face," would be raised. Yes. it stood in the place where countless small Flags stood at the Grand Opening of the Veterans Memorial Park, years earlier.
The Ceremony which occurred on January 14th, 2026 happened because distinguished Vincent Palmer, Vietnam Purple Heart Veteran, CMDR, Chapter 7ll and his members worked with beloved City Council Woman, who has been given immeasurable Credit for the Ceremony we gathered to Witness on January 14th, 2026.
In this Video, you will see the Veterans Standing as the Colors are Presented by Centennial High School NJROTC Cadets, and hear the "Pledge of Allegiance."
You will see God-in-Action; as once again, "I Saw His Face," UN Endorsed Peace Poem stands where Construction for the Park begins. You will hear from the distinguished Co-Owner of Rafael Construction, Inc. via a Video Interview, MyAngelCaf'e brought to you in days of the Jan 14th Rafael Construction, Inc. Ground Breaking Ceremony.
The Ebony Walls, the 18 iconic Bronze Statues, representing all of America's Wars, each Brick, each Table, everything at the initial park will be at the new park. I understand that the Statues will be protected, to survive weathering and/or any kind of destruction.
This Park is; once again, long awaited. Many generous donors are to be Thanked. MOPH Commander 71 1, and his Members, who thought about the idea of having a Veterans Memorial Park, then did the Work to bring their dream to Reality are to be Cherished, Revered. They had a dream, then they worked, they held contests, the brought in donors, they worked to see their dream become a reality. MyAngelCaf'e encourages each of you to Thank this courageous, loving Group of Veterans that is not only providing this dream for a few, but for our Nation's Veterans! Pretty Special, Elite Veterans!
Many people have particiapated in the new Project, the Rebuilding of the Veterans Memorial Park. I was told in an interview, much credit goes to the City Council Woman, who Eloquently Spoke to Assembled Veterans on Januaru 14th, 2026!
For Veterans that could not attend the Ground-Breaking Ceremony, MyAngelCaf'e. is hoping to bring you Updates, as I did for the First Park. I cried with. man Veterans who had a difficult time with the Closure of the Park at 555 North Washington.
I visited it so often to speak, to counsel, to give out the Verse to our Veterans! Many are older now and will need our Communities to provide transportation, tours to the new Park, once it is Completed!
Please enjoy this short Video! Once again, "I Saw His Face," Blessed the Nevada State Veterans Memorial Park on a day in History, none will forget: January 14th, 2026!
Please Contact CMDR Vincent Palmeri to make a Donation; and, get ready to buy a Brick and Remember a Veteran who died for our Country.
Thank You,
