He is leading initiatives to broadly expand the deployment of both lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing. He has decades of experience as a breakthrough consultant and educator. He is a national speaker and author of popular articles for Industry Week. Doug is a senior advisor to Ashoka social entrepreneurial non-profits transforming the coal economy of West Virginia and water security in central Mexico. Doug is known for seeing possibilities hidden in plain sight and innovative pathways for action.
