The Boston Sushi Fiesta was a performance art funk band that formed at Brown University. The World of Nutrition concert was held at The Underground circa 1991.
For the World of Nutrition gig, the band made large paper mache fruits and vegetables to decorate the stage, passed out menus with the full set list, sang songs about nutrition, sang songs about audience members and sold homemade cookies for five cents each.
The Boston Sushi Fiesta were:
Joshua Cohen - Guitar
Mike Corwin - Bass and Vocals
Lara Gordon - Trumpet
Jason Toft - Drums
