The AIADMK, Tamil Nadu’s principal opposition party, will mark its 54th Founding Day on October 17 and 18, 2025, with grand celebrations across the State and in major cities like Delhi, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Founded by M.G. Ramachandran (MGR) and strengthened by J. Jayalalithaa, the party will organize flag hoisting, welfare drives, Annadanam, and homage to its leaders.
General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami urged all party functionaries to actively participate and ensure that the celebrations highlight AIADMK’s legacy of social justice and public service.
