Driving the West Gate Tunnel Tollway (Citybound) at night. Driving from the West Gate freeway at Millers Road to Dynon Road in West Melbourne. Good view of the city at night once you are on elevated road section after exiting the Bundawanh Tunnel. (December 2025)
The West Gate Tunnel is toll road in Melbourne that links the West Gate Freeway at Yarraville with the Port of Melbourne and CityLink at Docklands. The Project cost a total of $10.2 billion.
The inbound (citybound) West Gate Tunnel is named the Bundawanh Tunnel while the outbound tunnel is named the Eureka Tunnel.
As of 14/12/2025, tolls for the tunnel will include an extra $6.54 for cars using the city exits during the morning peak (from 7am-9am on weekdays) on top of a flat toll of $4.09 to use other parts of the tunnel. Those driving light-heavy vehicles will be charged an extra $10.47 to use the city exit during the peak.
