Three Compositions for Piano by Milton Babbitt, performed by Machiko Yamane Musgrave in 1979. Machiko is a graduate of Juilliard and Soai University. In addition to playing the piano, Machiko is also the illustrator and co-author of the Doctor Mozart music theory workbooks for children. As well, she composed many of the tracks on the popular, easy-listening piano album, Lavender by Machiko and Paul Christopher Musgrave. Machiko was missing an extensor tendon in her left thumb since birth. This was corrected by surgery in 1981.
