Nel corso della Tetralogia Wagner richiama questi motivi in contesti diversi, ridefinendone ogni volta il ruolo nel racconto musicale. In questo video esploriamo il loro percorso nel Ring, dalla presenza di Loge tra gli dèi fino al fuoco che alla fine avvolge il Walhalla.

How does a leitmotif evolve across the Ring?
Loge’s motif and the Magic Fire motif are associated with the flames that surround Brünnhilde at the end of Die Walküre. Yet their meaning extends far beyond that moment. Throughout the Tetralogy Wagner recalls these motifs in different dramatic situations, reshaping their role in the musical narrative. In this video we explore how these themes unfold across the Ring, from Loge’s presence among the gods to the fire that ultimately engulfs Valhalla.
