On December 1st, Day 1 brought strong energy and ambition from the very start, beginning with early networking and opening remarks by co-chairperson Anabahati Mlay.

Dr. Blandina Kilama, delivered a bold keynote on how startups can drive national transformation, followed by fireside chats exploring the $1T digital economy opportunity - financing models, digital infrastructure, and policy reform.

Startup pitching featured JamiiVision, Agroasys, and AgroTechAi, highlighting the innovation shaping Tanzania’s future.
In the afternoon, Jumanne Mtambalike from Sahara Ventures led a session on building Tanzania’s talent engine, followed by a youth innovation discussion with Dinna Daniel AIESEC in Tanzania, and emerging founders.
Partnerships grew. Ideas opened. Paths to scale became clearer.
Day 1 laid the foundation for Vision 2050.
