Welcome to Vlog # 06 and our special Friday episode of Footuber live. In today's Vlog you will see us reviewing Tandoori restaurant which is located in DHA phase 1 Rawalpindi. We had some of our other food reviewer friends from Islamabad with us and we simply loved it with the Review Monkey team.
In this Vlog, you will find some of the shots covering the location of Tandoori restaurant Islamabad. Because, I literally have no words to describe this beautiful antique architecture. You will get some Delhi (before partition) kind of vibes from the place. The overall design and wonderful detailing did not fail to impress us at all.
Food is like soul to the beautiful body of a restaurant and we could not wait to see how yummy its soul is. Hah! Jokes apart, we were really hungry and because there is some sort of ancient mystery that keeps Fridays and biryanis together, we ordered their special Tandoori Dum Biryani. The wait for one serving was about 30 minutes and the food proportion was enough to fill at least 4 starving stomachs. We simply loved the taste and composition of this unique layered biryani.
The base was all spices and Qorma sort of a thing of boneless juicy chicken. Then the rice were layered evenly and nicely on the top of it sprinkled with some cashew nuts, raisins and walnuts. It was served hot and fresh and the quality was excellent.
Speaking of the pricing, the amount they charged for biryani was 1150 which was super fine i guess. But, they did overcharge us for the drinks and our total was greater than what we expected. So, bring your own drinks hah! Anyway, the overall experience was awesome. We loved the ambiance, the food and we totally recommend Tandoori Dum Biryaani for you guys.
