!! Edited this video. A viewer pointed out that the stretch from Breidscheid bridge to Bergwerk has a speed limit — rescue vehicles join the track there. Don't go flat out through here. Timing yourself isn't allowed during tourist drives. !!
The internet calls GT7 the worst sim out there. It's also why I didn't end up in the gravel on my third lap of the actual Nürburgring.
First time on the ring for real, in my own BMW M2 Competition on Pilot Sport 4S tyres — 19 laps, 16 of them under a yellow flag. This is the honest version of that day: where a few hundred laps in a video game matched reality almost exactly (corner sequence, braking zones, apex placement), where it told me nothing useful at all (Flugplatz, the elevation, anything that actually needs nerve), and the corner at Aremberg where I nearly became one more German car doing an impression of a 90k lawnmower.
Not claiming to be fast. Fast doesn't prove anything — anyone can be fast eventually. This is what it actually takes to go from a controller to comfortable by lap three on the most dangerous track in the world.
Car: BMW M2 Competition, Pilot Sport 4S (they gave up after about four hard corners), traction control on throughout — the sim gets a restart button, Germany doesn't.
Which corner would scare you most from behind the wheel — Flugplatz, Foxhole, or the run down into Pflanzgarten?
Повторяем попытку...
