Описание: I will admit it took me a while to really get into this series 😅 Normally I watch BL dramas mainly for the romance and I do not focus too much on the plot, but this one was very plot heavy so at first it felt harder to finish.

But if there is one thing I absolutely have to praise, it is the acting. Both leads were phenomenal at showing so much emotion just through their eyes and their faces, often without even needing words. That is why I did not include many voiceovers in my edit, their actions alone said everything.

I put a big focus on their fight scene because to me it was the turning point of everything. Tyme finally exploded about Great’s family’s evil deeds and took it out on him. That moment shattered me because even after all of that Great still chose to save Tyme, his lover. Meanwhile Tyme’s mind was on his friend Nan, who had stood beside him through every struggle to expose Great’s family. It was heartbreaking but at the same time I understood it.

At least the ending gave us something to hold onto. Their love turned out to be real and they actually got their happily ever after. Which is why I am so confused right now. Why is there talk of a second season called 8hour 😭 Was the angst not already enough? I am begging for it to be more of a spin off than a direct continuation because how much more suffering can Tyme and Great possibly endure. If anything they better give us a special episode of them being all lovey dovey after this so called “second season” or else I swear I am throwing hands.

Still, no matter what, I cannot help but look forward to it. Whether 8hour actually happens or not (and since it is Be On Cloud who even knows) I just know I need to see these two acting together again as soon as possible. 💕😭
