I´m often asked what is the best season to travel to Rome. Oh well, all season are beautiful here, but there´s something about autumn in Rome. When the streets get less crowded after high travel season, leaves turn to colours and the city bathes in the warm, golden autumn sun.
In this autumn vlog, I´m taking you to follow my everyday life in Rome. I woke up at 5:30 to catch the first sun rays for a morning walk in the heart of Rome. It was so magical to see the big city coming alive and walking by the Colosseum and Forum Romanum almost alone.
After my morning walk, I went for a coffee and cornetto at one of the oldest cafés in Rome, Il Caffé Sant´Eustachio, founded in 1938. Then I continued my walk to the Rose Garden, to the Orange tree garden, and had lunch at cozy Greek restaurant called Elleniko.
I also relaxed at home with my (neighbours...) cat and took care of myself by exercising in my favourite park in Rome, Villa Pamphili.
One of the highlights of my week was the art exhibition by Finnish painter Nanna Susi and Italian sculptor Maurizio Savini.
