The BBC has removed its documentary ‘Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone’ from iPlayer amid accusations of bias, as it did not disclose that the child narrator’s father was a Hamas deputy minister.
The broadcaster is conducting a “due diligence” review before potentially reinstating the film. Initially, the BBC planned to add more context but decided to pull the documentary following growing criticism.
Former BBC Director Danny Cohen and other critics are questioning whether the corporation paid any Hamas members, as the group is a banned terrorist organisation in the UK.
