Once again, tis has come to my YAPPERY SESH jazz hands do scroll past if you're not interested as i will just be yapping multiple paragraphs! :D

what's up gamers, i'm bACKKKKKKKKK!!! finals have been over for a few months and I am so happy to be back making covers and videos again!!! :DD took me a while as i decided to take some time to chill, and also recorded a few covers on the side that i wasn't too sure about posting, so uh, 6 months went by like WHOOSH aha aha :skull:

well the most important thing is i'm back now!! and have a lot more in store for the future! :D more covers, video ideas... perhaps streams? :eyes: who knows! so stay tuned for that ;D

the reason i decided to cover this song was becuz i remember hearing it for the first time and was like WOAHHH and to this day i have it on my playlist. its such a good vibey song so i really wanted to cover it for a while, ever since the gekko release a few years ago actually! :D and also becuz the 2025 valorant wrapped recommended me to play gekko , so i was like hey! why not? :D

this video honestly took quite a while :skull: i wasn't too sure about the mix and hit a hard period where i felt my singing was lacking until i decided to get over it and just push thru anyway. i ALSO had a hard time coming up with what i wanted to do for the part in the video where the SICK instrumental comes in, so it took me multiple days, multiple shower thoughts and trying to imagine with my hands gesturing in the air like a madman until i came up with something hopefully decent! :D i think in total the cover + video took me about 3 weeks if i added all the days together that were spaced out. i also got sick so that stumped me for a bit, good gosh what a trainwreck :skull:

but in the end, after a lot of hard work the end result turned out to be pretty cool, in my opinion!! :D i tried some new things and decided to push my editing skills a step further, looking up a ton of videos on 'how to' do this and that, and giving the lyric pop ups more variety compared to my other videos. im really proud of how much i've improved, honestly! and i cant wait to explore this editing software even further and try even MORE new things in the future!

the process this time had more roadblocks, but im glad i gave myself time to think through on how to make the video even better, now i have the wonderful fruits of my labour! v i had a lot of fun this time as well, zooming things around and then stepping back to watch the whole thing is super satisfying, and i feel a sense of achievement! :D
