Centrally located in Pinellas County in the city of Largo, New Testament Baptist Church is celebrating over 62 years of ministry in Pinellas County. Started in a garage port back in 1961, then quickly moved to Belcher Elementary School under the ministry of Dick Freeman. The church then purchased land at 2050 Belcher Rd S in Largo, FL, where the first of many buildings was built.

The current pastor of this Independent Baptist Church is Dr. Matthew Trill, who has ministered on staff at NTBC for more than 35 years. Pastor Matt began serving as the church’s youth pastor after graduating from Clearwater Christian College in 1988. He also holds a Doctorate in Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. A Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Pensacola Christian College. In 2000, he became the senior pastor after pastor Harold F Ramsey retired.

In 2000, a new Spanish Ministry started, and there is currently a strong, growing community of Hispanic believers that worship together on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

New Testament Baptist Church is committed to telling people of God's love and His desire to save them. We continue to be a growing church with a friendly family atmosphere. NTBC has several ministries that help people develop a real relationship with Jesus Christ and other Christians. These various ministries also provide volunteer positions for lay people to use their gifts in the work of the Lord's church, including singing in the choir and working in children’s clubs and Sunday schools, to name a few.

Believing that the Bible is the Word of God, Pastor Trill's preaching and teaching are Bible-centered, practical, and encouraging.
