This video of the American Eagle Foundation's rescue of an injured bald eagle shows the lengths AEF will go to in order to ensure the protection and conservation of this beautiful species. In the video we see a member of AEF covering the head of the bald eagle to calm the bird down and also protect herself from that powerful beak. Being very careful not to put any pressure on the chest of the bald eagle to protect its lungs the team then makes the treacherous journey back to the highway to take the bird to the vet to attend to its injuries.
