"Will any of my children ever amount to anything?" Mr Akulah Rowa said to no one in particular as he reviewed his son Julian's end of term results. That hurt. He vowed to "amount to something" to prove a point to the world and to avenge his father in the eyes of those who demeaned him. Julian loved and admired his father. He loved spending time with him in his "office". However due to his father's limited financial means, he was often treated as "less-than". This hurt Julian deeply and was his motivation to stand out and excel.
