Описание: This session discusses different types of rainfall data that can be used with HydroCAD. Topics include traditional IDF curves and how they relate to the synthetic mass curves commonly used with the SCS/NRCS method. Learn how to download local rainfall data from the NOAA Precipitation Frequency Data Server, or the new NRCC web site that provides comparable rainfall data for the Northeast. The local data can then be used to define rainfall events for one of the predefined rainfall distributions, or to generate a local synthetic rainfall distribution to be used in place of the common Type I, IA, II or III distributions.
