This is a follow up to this silly video: • Commodore C2N + Science
Obv's.. .Don't go fiddling with your tape drive just because you've seen me do it here! But, do clean the heads and change the drive belt before you start fiddling with the head alignment.
Not only, but also.. The speed of the average Joe's C2N isn't really a big deal. What it needs to be is stable.. and that is always solved with a new drive belt and a clean capstan and pinch roller.
If you do want to check your tape drives speed, you'll need to get a calibration tape. This should not be confused with an 'azimuth' tape. I'll do a vidayo on that soonish.
And if anyone can recommend some 'scope software'.. as the software that came with my Hantek is clearly rubbish ;D
