Описание: On June 29, 2003, the Sanctuary Choir of New Covenant Church of Philadelphia filled the house with a worship concert like no other—a night overflowing with musical excellence, creativity, and heartfelt praise. The choir packed the loft, lifting up songs that would become beloved staples in our worship culture, including “For Every Mountain,” “Taste and See,” and “He’s Still Good.”

The evening featured a powerful praise mime presentation to Kirk Franklin’s “Why Do You Cry” and a moving gospel jazz segment with DeVonne Gardener and tap dancers that brought an unforgettable blend of rhythm and reverence. The concert reached its pinnacle with the choir’s soul-stirring performance of Richard Smallwood’s “Anthem of Praise,” as the congregation joined in high praise and thanksgiving.
