Описание: If the Moon is observed from near the Earth's equator, the apparent rotation of the Moon is not constant. It is limited to a few minutes before and after crossing the meridian at the zenith, due to all azimuth co-ordinates converging at the zenith. At all other times the Moon's leading edge is always pointed directly upward while it is rising, and the Moon's leading edge is always pointed directly downward while it is setting. The apparent rotation is an illusion caused by field rotation, which is maximized if the azimuth reference frame is at a right angle to the equatorial reference frame. The reference frames are perfectly at right angles to each other near the Equator, and are perfectly parallel near the North and South poles.
