👉Charles Montagu: serves as a member of the Board of Crossroads Foundation and of The American Council for Hypnotherapy Examiners. For the past 25 years, he has worked in private practice in London, and was the first hypnotherapist to be funded by the NHS.

👉Brian Ballantyne: is the UK and European Representative for Crossroads Centre Antigua.
He began his career in addiction counselling in 1982 , runs workshops and has a private practice.

👉Chip Somers: has been working in the field of substance misuse for 34 years. He has worked in all aspects of the field from residential rehab, secondary care facilities and has founded and run a primary residential programme called Focus12 for 20 years. He has sat on a Government Advisory Board run my MP David Burrowes looking at the residential rehab set up in the UK. He has given evidence to the Select Committee on Drug Misuse. He currently has a private practice in Harley Street London. A podcast that has a worldwide audience and is the Trustee of 3 charities related to drug and alcohol problems.

ABOUT TURN UP FOR RECOVERY

Turn up for Recovery is a charitable movement aiming to raise awareness of abstinence-based recovery, tackle the stigma of addiction and help make treatment affordable to people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. The idea for Turn up for Recovery (TUFR) came to founder, Melia Clapton, she wanted to tackle the stigma around addiction and alcoholism and raise awareness about the power of abstinence based recovery. It’s a topic very close to her heart, having supported family members throughout their recovery. Her vision is for an inclusive community of artists, music lovers and those affected by addiction coming together to have a good time, talk about recovery and raise money for others to get the help that they need at Crossroads Centre Antigua. Melia announced the movement in September 2019 during Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival. It has been gaining momentum ever since.
