Описание: Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled “SAMARPAN” on the 4th Sunday of every month at Sivam, Hyderabad. It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with Divine association through “SAMARPAN”

The #150 SAMARPAN is being held at SIVAM on the evening of 26th October 2025. We are truly blessed to have in the "Dhanya Jeevulu" series, Sri. Kasi Viswanath Bhagawatar as the speaker for the day, a revered exponent of Harikatha.

Sri. Kasi Viswanath Bhagawatar, born in Gadwal on 27th May 1956 to late Sri G. Nagappa, a respected Vakil, (advocate) and Smt. G. Parvathamma, has devoted over four decades to the sacred tradition of Harikatha—a rare and evocative art form that weaves music, storytelling, and spiritual wisdom into a divine narrative of our epics and deities. A graduate in Carnatic music from the Sri Bhaktha Ramadasu Govt. College of Music and Dance, Secunderabad, he served as a music teacher at Gadwal Bal Bhavan, nurturing generations of young aspirants before retiring with distinction. His journey as a B-grade Harikatha artist at All India Radio, Hyderabad, continues to inspire listeners across the region.

Sri. Kasi Viswanath Bhagawatar’s contributions extend far beyond the stage. Through his performances in numerous villages under the aegis of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, he has kindled cultural awareness and spiritual devotion in countless hearts. His artistry has been recognized with the prestigious title of “Harikatha Bhaskara” conferred by the Shringeri Shankara Matham, honoring his luminous role in preserving and propagating this sacred oral tradition.

Today, Sri. Kasi Viswanath Bhagawatar graces the lawns of SIVAM, to enthrall the Devotees with HIS Stories from "Tapovanam", "My Life is My Message" and such other notable literature on Swami, expressing the Essense through Poems, Songs, Narrations etc. bringing out important Learnings & Messages in a very interesting way. We celebrate not just a performer, but a Cultural Steward, a Spiritual Narrator, and a Torchbearer of Dharmic Legacy. Let us immerse ourselves in his soulful rendition and rediscover the timeless stories of our Gods through his voice.
