Описание: Today we experienced an unbelievable bountiful harvest 🌱 in our African village — a beautiful reminder of the rewards of patience, hard work, and living close to the land.

We harvested fresh pomegranates, cabbages, bell peppers, and tomatoes straight from our garden. For the first time, we tasted our homegrown pomegranate, and it was incredibly juicy, sweet, and refreshing 🍎✨ — a truly special moment for us.

After harvesting, we cooked exactly what we had grown. We prepared githeri, a traditional and nourishing African meal made by slowly cooking maize and beans together until tender, then enhancing it with fresh vegetables. Githeri is a staple in many homes — simple, filling, and perfect for feeding a family after a long day of work in the village.

As the cooking continued, we also enjoyed traditional firewood cooking 🔥, bringing everyone together in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. There’s something deeply comforting about preparing meals the village way — slow, intentional, and full of love.

Alongside the harvest and cooking, we’re excited to share the new look of our dream home in the village in Africa 🏡. Landscaping continues as we shape our surroundings and bring beauty, order, and peace to our compound. Step by step, we are building our dream home in Africa, grounded in family values and countryside living.
