Crisis Cafe is delivering the Change Can Happen project, an initiative aimed at preventing violence against women and girls by providing educative workshops, youth-led awareness programmes and social media campaigns.
Funding has been provided by the Council’s Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Change Fund, which is also supporting The Safe Here, Safe Everywhere Drop-In Café. It operates twice a month and is a space where young women and girls can drop in for advice, support and signposting.
To date, 73 young women and girls have accessed support from the Drop-In Café, with the service ensuring that those affected by violence or vulnerability can access support when they need it.
