His election follows the resignation of previous leaders, including Ronnie Floyd and Frank Page, amid controversies. The search for a new leader was difficult, with previous candidates withdrawing before the final election. Iorg's colleagues have praised his appointment, highlighting his ability to unite various factions within the denomination.
