My Dad passed away 12th August 2020, and I’ve found it too difficult to look at the layout since then, but today I went up the loft and ran a few of the trains as I don’t want the hard work my Dad put in to go to waste.
He spent nearly 10 years with his trains starting up in the loft with N gauge, then building a shed in the garden, and then another shed next to it! Then changing both the shed and a little later the loft layout to OO gauge.
It gave him a lot of enjoyment, and the times I helped with the scenery and running the trains, we had a lot of fun together.
Despite being diagnosed with Cancer five years ago, he was able to continue to do the things he loved including his trains, playing the guitar and keyboard, and his garden up until the middle of last year.
Thank you to all the subscribers and to everyone who liked his videos and commented on them,
and thanks Dad for all the happy times.
