Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - Any% Speedrun World Record in

Описание: First new Chapter 1 Any% world record in 2 years, thanks to community efforts.

My previous PB was never saved properly, so it's nice to have one with up to date strats and skill saved. This record was possible thanks in no small part to the community. We've known for years about the Solider Pickup Warp glitch (See my tutorial on that one), but we've never known if it was possible to aim them. We've only been able to leave missions using it, but thanks to a push by ‪@OneCoolMan2008‬, it wound up being solved. ‪@wizardhwk‬ stumbled onto being able to "aim" them by diving out of a cardboard box, while ‪@MetsametsaSpeedruns‬ realized what was going on and figured out the distance of the warps and how the setups work.

There is still a lot of potential time to save here. A 1:51:XX is very doable with a cleaner run. I'm not sure if a 1:50:XX is possible though I thought it was initially, but anything is possible.

I'm just so happy to continue to be part of this game's history and to see our community continue to grow and overcome challenges. You're all diamonds.

I have some other things I want to work on that I put aside to grind for the record. I'm not sure yet if I'll keep going for the 1:51:XX or if I'll put it to the side for now.

For clarification, the Chapter 1 run is allowed to start post-Prologue (You have the option to play it, but timing won't start until the point where I started my timer in this run).
