Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting West Berlin in 1972.
It contains stock footage of the Zoological Garden in Tiergarten: the iconic entrance still displaying decorations for its 125th anniversary, celebrated in 1969, street signs indicating animals and services within the zoo, various animal enclosures including elephants, polar bears, seals, brown bears, and monkeys, workers feeding animals with fish, children playing on the playground, visitors riding a horse-drawn carriage, and more.
