In the 1980s Hoverspeed ran large SR.N4 Hovercraft across the Channel from Dover to Calais. Did they plan to run a Hoverspeed liveried train from London to Dover? Please let me know. NP.
In his "Hornby Railways Volume 3" Pat Hammond wrote: "Specially branded coaches used on trains to Kent were modelled by Hornby using their eight window model", but I can't find any pictures of actual Hoverspeed coaches.
The Hoverspeed coaches go well with the Network South East liveried class 47. I couldn't get hold of the the 1987 R.867 47573 "The London STANDARD"
so I had to use a tatty R.219 which didn't have the alternate names & numbers.
