Got some Pergea 08C from a friend to try out on my 180sx. I have used 08c in 235/17 before and they felt awesome. When I stepped it up to 265/18, I was always running Sailuns but I wanted to try this setup out.
Sailuns 265/18 and 08c 235/17 felt about the same. But 08c in 265/18 was next level gripped up. I had to air them up to 50 psi to even do the entry and even then I had to ride out the second clutch kick or else the car wouldn't even rotate.
definitely makes my driving way more aggressive but I drive the car to the track so I try not to abuse the shit out of it too much. 265/18 sailuns feel way better IMO for my stock setup, but was fun to feel what a super gripped up setup feels like!
