Highlights from the Next Generation Scania launch

Описание: Streamed live from Grand Palais in Paris in front of 1,200 guests from 70 countries, a new generation of trucks and transport solutions from Scania was launched, setting new standards in the transport industry.

“Together, we can drive the shift to a new era of sustainable transport. Today is just the beginning,” Scania’s President and CEO Henrik Henriksson promised, aiming at the tens of thousands of customers, drivers and fans worldwide, following the biggest product launch in Scania´s 125-year history.

The new truck range is the result of ten years of development work and project costs of more than 2 billion euro. With it, Scania is extending its offering and can now, thanks to its unique modular system, more performance steps, connectivity and a comprehensive palette of productivity enhancing services, offer sustainable transport solutions that are precisely customised for each type of customer in the highly competitive transportation industry.
