Pentagon Confirms Long War Ahead in Iran

Описание: The United States Central Command has launched Operation Epic Fury against Iran, starting on 28 February at 0115 Eastern Standard Time under orders from the US President.

The operation is being led by Admiral Brad Cooper and involves large-scale combat missions aimed at stopping Iran from projecting power beyond its borders.

During a media briefing, General Kane confirmed US military casualties and offered condolences to the families of those lost. He said this will not be a short, overnight mission and warned that more losses are expected as operations continue.

The mission includes thousands of service members from all branches of the US military. Advanced fighter jets, as well as carrier strike groups like the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS Gerald R. Ford, are involved.
