This is a gorgeous movie and a pleasant surprise from Sony. The first time I watched it, I instantly noticed different Christian principles represented in the story, and I've seen lots of online chatter about it too. I hope you guys enjoy this one, and please share your thoughts below on what you noticed in this movie! Feel free to disagree as well:)
The Bible says that the law is written on mans’ heart, and we see that play out in everything humans create, even if its a secular movie. Romans 2:15 says, "They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them." The Bible also says that all of creation cries out in worship to God, which is a testament to God’s truth being manifested in creation. Psalm 19:1 says "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
