I Found Mold in My Basement! - New Insulation, New Drywall, New Pretty Paint! - Thrift Diving

Описание: I knew we had mold in our basement, but I didn't know how extensive the problem would be when I opened up the basement wall next to the exterior door where water has been leaking into our basement for years. Thankfully, the problem wasn't TOO bad, but still required an extensive repair.

See how I did DIY mold removal in my basement, installed new insulation, installed a new basement exterior door (because the old one was rotted along the frame), and replaced the drywall. I also painted the walls a gorgeous Temperate Taupe.

NOTE: Take precautions when dealing with mold. Wear the appropriate masks rated for mold spores. Turn off your HVAC system to prevent spreading mold spores around your home. Call a professional to help if you need it! :)

NOTE: Use a stud-finder and other necessary tools to make sure you're not cutting into wires or pipes. Turn off electricity first if necessary for cutting in your drywall.
