Hydrogen-powered Alpine Alpenglow Hy6 V6 concept SOUNDS at Goodwood FOS!

Описание: During the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed I filmed the Alpine Alpenglow Hy6 V6 concept.

Alpine brought its hydrogen-powered Alpenglow Hy6 concept to the UK as part of a high-octane 70th anniversary celebration at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The futuristic hydrogen race car – powered by a 740bhp twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 internal combustion engine – will make its dynamic UK debut on the famous hillclimb, showcasing Alpine’s commitment to “environmental innovation with sportiness.”

First revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2024, the Hy6 represents the brand’s ongoing exploration of hydrogen combustion as a low-carbon future for high-performance motoring.

While it remains a concept, the Alpenglow’s V6 layout and motorsport positioning suggest Alpine sees hydrogen as more than a gimmick – particularly with Formula 1 and Le Mans both weighing up zero-carbon fuels for future regulations.

But the hydrogen star won’t be the only attraction at the Alpine stand. The Renault-owned sports car maker will also unveil the world dynamic debut of the new Alpine A290 Rallye – a motorsport-prepped version of the 2025 European Car of the Year.

Based on the all-electric A290 hot hatch, the Rallye version adds a full roll cage, ZF limited-slip differential, and extensive chassis upgrades.
