Rallye Le Touquet 2024 - ES14: Beussent-Parenty 2 - all cars (raw footage) + VHC ES10 - top speeds!

Описание: The final stage of the 64th Rallye Le Touquet and the 26th Rallye Le Touquet VHC (historic).

Due to an accident of crew #159 (Stéphane Senet - Vitalys Senet), the end of this stage was neutralised. Unfortunately this caused some delay, what made that it was completely dark for the historic competitors... There was not much point in filming, I did anyway but instead of making a separate video I pasted the footage to the end of this one.

Léo Rossel (3, Citroën C3 Rally2) won the rally, 32.7 seconds before Yoann Bonato (1, Citroën C3 Rally2). Eric Brunson (10, Citroën C3 Rally2) is 3rd on +1:22.9.

He kept his podium after a final attack from Anthony Fotia (6, Citroën C3 Rally2) who won this final stage, 0.8 seconds faster than Brunson. Bonato was 3rd on +3.2, Rossel drove a 6th time on +5.6, after the Alpine A110 Rally RGT's from Quentin Gilbert (9, +3.5) and Cédric Robert (8, +4.6).

In Historic, Victorien Heuninck (215, BMW 325i E30) won the stage, 12.5 seconds before Christophe Merlevede (202, BMW E30 M3). Bertrand Métivier (206, Ford Escort RS 1600 MKI) was 3rd on +12.7.

Paul Lietaer eventually won the rally, 1:51.4 before Arnaud Choquet (205, Ford Escort RS 1800 MKII). Heuninck in extremis took the 3rd place and finishes on +2:47.7. He was practically the only one that was still pushing on this location, which I can imagine was very tricky in complete darkness, so the other competitors just took it safe. Choquet and Lietaer were 4th and 5th on this stage, on resp. +16.9 and +18.9.

This was the final stage from this year's Rallye Le Touquet, but the rally week-end isn't over yet: on Sunday I am visiting the Short Rally van Moorslede, a little closer to home, first rally of the season in our region :-)
