I wrote “The Music of Your Heart” after a dream of a little boy standing alone in the middle of a crowded street. He was scared, looking for help, but people just walked past him—too busy, too distracted, too caught in their own world to notice a child in need.
That image stayed with me, because it reflects the reality so many kids live in today. With less guidance and fewer genuine role models, they often end up influenced by the first person who pays attention to them—even if that influence isn’t good.
This song is meant to be a gentle reminder for those kids:
that even when they feel invisible, unsure, or alone, they already carry something powerful inside them—the ability to pause, breathe, reflect, and find the right path.
Being on a lonely road doesn’t mean it’s the wrong one.
This song also became my 4-year-old son’s favourite. He sings it when he feels overwhelmed, to bring himself back to calm. If it can help him recenter, I believe it can help others too.
This is a song for the quiet hearts, the lost ones, the growing minds—
a message of guidance, patience, and inner strength.
